Dr Fiona Kennedy
Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Dr Fiona Kennedy has extensive clinical experience in mental health, including anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, psychosis and personality disorders, as well as in learning disability services. Her main orientation for many years has been Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She was a Board Member/Trustee of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) and has substantial experience of teaching and presenting, including regular input to doctoral training programmes and other professional groups. Her research has included work on dissociation after trauma, which contributed to a new theoretical model and scale, as well as innovative treatments. She has presented nationally and internationally, received an award for clinical excellence from BUPA, and is widely valued as an inspiring tutor.
